As You Arrive

As soon as you go through the doors into the main building youre in our light and airy Atrium. This is the reception area and its always busy. You'll see people chatting, groups of friends going off to lectures and going into the canteen or restaurant for something to eat or drink. Youll also find the shop, which stocks most of the things youll want, like stationery, newspapers, sweets and drinks.

Who's Here?

You'll notice students of all ages, and they're doing an amazing range of courses.

You only have to be in the Atrium for a few minutes before you notice something thats pretty unique to the College, the unusual range of ages of the people who have chosen to study here. Some are just leaving school and are studying for academic or vocational qualifications in one of the regions best FE colleges. There are University level students who have chosen to study for their degree here because of the excellent teaching and support they receive. Others are people following or expanding their interests and qualifications independently as part time students and you'll also find professionals who are developing their business skills and training through their businesses.
